We NEED to have the GRCC testing center allowed as a proctor center.
Raynard Ross
28:26
There will be limited in seat testing available for extenuating in which a student doesn't have appropriate equipment
Raynard Ross
28:34
Emphasis on limited
Sarah krajewski and Lauren Elliott
29:19
To clarify ...GRCC does not have access to live proctoring? Is it a program that records the student and we watch the student similar to respondus?
Raynard Ross
29:59
Corrrect
Raynard Ross
31:08
SmarterProctor also "flags" and draws your attention to suspicious activity during testing.
Anwar Thomas
31:14
Will disabling the "block other extensions" option allow testers to use accessibility software such as screen readers and reading software or is SP compatible with this type of technology?
Jeannie Dauber
31:14
Do students have to set up a separate SP account?
Raynard Ross
32:09
@ Jeannie, no they do not. They access via Bb
Brandi Miller
32:21
But if I allow multiple tabs so they can access a calculator, will it flag any student that accesses something besides the computer calculator? Or do I have to watch the video to see if they access something besides the calculator?
Raynard Ross
32:37
It will
Sarah krajewski and Lauren Elliott
35:16
Can you see the whole class at the same time in a grid?
Raynard Ross
35:18
Will disabling the "block other extensions" option allow testers to use accessibility software such as screen readers and reading software or is SP compatible with this type of technology?
Shanda
35:28
Have students been issued ID's during the pandemic?
Sarah krajewski and Lauren Elliott
36:14
Are you able to easily see who has annotations (flags) or do you need to open each student individually?
Jeannie Dauber
36:26
Does SP allow for advanced adaptive release, like Bb does?
Anwar Thomas
36:46
Thank you.
Nicole Evans
37:52
Does the AI only flag face and sound? Or does the AI flag screen capture as well - for example if they open website or video during the test?
Sarah krajewski and Lauren Elliott
37:54
Does this work on phones and or tablets the same as it does on a personal computer?
Dana Lehmann
38:31
does it work on chromebooks?
GRCC Dr. Greg Forbes
38:55
Does not work on phones
GRCC Dr. Greg Forbes
40:11
Sad to hear that every single student has to be checked individually for exam violations.
Sarah krajewski and Lauren Elliott
41:44
How many seats has GRCC purchased or is it unlimited?
Jeannie Dauber
42:00
What are the hours for your support staff?
Janet Thorne-Chan
44:15
Was the question on flagging students using other websites?
Shanna Goff
46:15
But on the first test, the students are not in there yet? Didn't you say they have to enter to populate this?
Brandi Miller
46:17
Do we have to create the accommodation in Blackboard and SP, or will it pass through to SP if we set it up in Blackboard?
ttsor
46:27
But can that only be done once they have entered the exam?
GRCC Dr. Greg Forbes
48:05
What constitutes a "student coming into the SP system first"?
Colette Smiley
48:37
Have students do a “syllabus quiz” at the beginning of the course using the proctor tool to get them “in”
ttsor
49:26
So accommodations can not be added unless they are already in BB?
Sarah krajewski and Lauren Elliott
49:43
This product only seems to be better than Respondus because of chromebook accessibility....are there any other benefits I am missing? If we were purchasing the live proctor option I can see the advantage. Disappointed we cant see multiple students at a time and that we need to click on each student to see if there are any annotations (flags)- seems like much more work on our end.
Colette Smiley
49:53
Thank you for letting us know it is for an essential tool only
Janet Thorne-Chan
51:20
This is great information.
Jeannie Dauber
51:57
We are only allowed to proctor 6,000 exams? For all of GRCC? My students have 7 quizzes and 4 tests, which is 528 for just 2 classes!
Sarah krajewski and Lauren Elliott
52:40
Can each department have the option to purchase an "add on" to our agreement and have live proctors?
Shanna Goff
52:46
Raynard, if this works for chromebooks, but not ipads, (assuming it works with ALEKS) would it be advisable to set up students with chromebook to use this, and other students to use respondus (assuming we have that working for ALEKS as well)?
Raynard Ross
54:50
@ Shanna, yes that would be a good way to manage things. Unfortunately we have yet to identify an affordable proctoring tool that works for all devices so a combination of SP and Respondus may be needed
Sarah krajewski and Lauren Elliott
54:56
When can we expect that this tool is available for us in BlackBoard?
ttsor
56:43
I think you used student 6
Colette Smiley
58:53

If you have chrome browser on your phone will it work?
Brandi Miller

GRCC Dr. Greg Forbes
01:01:27
Can the instructor take the exam as a student to see the interface as is possible with Respondus?
Brandi Miller
01:04:12
Can we change the room scan instructions? (i.e. customize them)
Brandi Miller
01:06:09
If allowing multiple screens, does SP record both screens? Or only the one the student selects?
Jeannie Dauber
01:06:18
If someone loses WIFI or something during a "1 attempt" setting, do we have to individually change to 2 attempts both on Bb and SP?
Sarah krajewski and Lauren Elliott
01:08:16
If wifi cuts off and student needs help to restart is that something your "help chat" can fix....or do they need to contact the professor to reopen?
Janet Thorne-Chan
01:08:59
